What You'll Be Doing
* Greet customers with a warm, friendly, and approachable attitude to create a positive shopping experience.
* Assist with inquiries – provide clear and helpful information, answer questions, and guide customers as needed.
* Support the Donor Care Program – assist in receiving donated goods and communicate with donors.
* Process donated goods – assess condition, functionality, and suitability of items according to production guidelines, and price them accurately for sale.
* Stock and display – place priced items on the sales floor in their allocated areas, ensuring neat and organized presentation and aid visual merchandising.
* Maintain cleanliness – regularly clean items, the sales floor, and staff areas to ensure a pleasant, tidy, and safe environment.
* Waste management – follow sustainable waste management guidelines so that all waste is handled appropriately.
* Ensure safety – maintain a secure environment for customers, visitors, and staff by adhering to safe work practices and guidelines.
* Health and safety – be mindful of personal health and take care of the health and safety of others around you, including customers and colleagues.
