Job Summary
Our organisation is seeking a skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join our Engineering Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising trade staff, managing contract services, and monitoring public areas. You will also have the opportunity to lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

About You
We are looking for someone with extensive experience in health-facilities maintenance, who has completed a trade qualification in a building discipline and holds a Certificate IV in Frontline Management (or equivalent). You will need to demonstrate experience supervising both internal and contract trade staff, as well as strong organisational and communication skills.
A post-trade qualification or additional certifications would be highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinating and supervising multidisciplinary trade staff
* Managing the performance and safety of contract trade services
* Monitoring and maintaining public circulation areas
* Organizing and approving repairs as required
* Administering Engineering fleet vehicle running sheets
* Supporting maintenance activities across the wider hospital precinct
* Performing additional duties as directed by the Manager of Engineering Services
