With a growing pipeline of civil infrastructure work, we are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join our team based in Toowoomba.
Role Description
As a Civil Project Manager at Newlands, you will take ownership of the end‐to‐end delivery of civil infrastructure projects, working closely with Supervisors, Engineers and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full project lifecycle from award through to completion
* Lead and support Project Engineers, Supervisors and site teams
* Develop and manage project programs, budgets, forecasts and cost controls
* Manage subcontractor procurement, performance and relationships
* Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, quality and contractual requirements
* Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
* Identify and manage project risks, variations and claims
* Promote a strong safety culture and uphold Newlands' values on every project
Qualifications
* 5+ years' experience as a Civil Project Manager or in a senior project delivery role
* Strong experience delivering civil infrastructure projects such as roads, drainage, bulk earthworks, utilities, subdivisions or council/TMR works
* Qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
* Sound commercial and contract management capability
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* A proactive, solutions‐focused approach to project delivery
* White Card and current driver's licence
* Valid driver's licence
