Job Title: Contract Management Specialist
Duration: Ongoing, with a minimum of 3 months.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a contract management framework, strategy, and plan to ensure successful project outcomes.
* Establish and track key performance metrics and requirements for suppliers under contract.
* Conduct performance and compliance reviews of suppliers, including reviews of supplier self-assessments, Australian Industry Capability (AIC) requirements, Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements, and environmental and ecological sustainability requirements.
* Develop, supply, or operate a contract management system or processes/tools to record, monitor, and track communications, performance, and financial status between parties.
* Ensure adherence to appropriate Intellectual Property (IP) requirements.
* Manage claims by one party on the other, including warranties, liquidated damages, defects, liabilities, and other important information.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualifications and domain knowledge in contract management.
* Experience in vendor management, contract management, and coordination functions.
* Previous Defence experience is highly desirable.
* Extensive industry and specialty experience in Contract Management.
* A sound understanding of the Defence Procurement Manual (DPM) and related guidance, as well as ASDEFCON-based contracts.
