Associate Structural Engineers
At Beca, there are endless opportunities and exciting projects within the industrial team, working across sectors such as water, food and beverage, minerals and metals, forestry, energy, manufacturing, water, power, airports, ports, and defence.
We are proud to be selected as one of Sydney Water Corporation's design development partners, helping provide sustainable solutions for the challenges facing the Sydney metro area.
This is your chance to be part of a team delivering impactful projects that make a real difference in our communities. Let’s make everyday better together!
The Opportunity
This win, along with other water projects in NSW and across Australia, marks a significant step in our ability to support clients with complex infrastructure challenges.
To support our delivery of innovative solutions, we are seeking Associate Structural Engineers to join our Sydney team, supporting our national industrial and water business.
This role is ideal for experienced professionals looking to advance their careers by leading and developing our Sydney team while working on diverse water infrastructure projects.
You will have the opportunity to lead structural designs for steel structures in hydraulic structures, pump stations, service reservoirs, and treatment facilities, as well as general industrial projects. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll manage end-to-end project delivery, including design, documentation, and construction support.
In a supportive and inclusive environment that values diversity and continuous improvement, you'll have opportunities to mentor junior engineers, develop your technical expertise, engage with clients directly, and contribute to projects shaping the future of industrial and water infrastructure.
About you
You will be a Chartered Professional Engineer with a bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering, experienced in industrial steel structures (knowledge of concrete design is a plus). You have a solid foundation in structural design, analysis, and documentation, and are eager to take on more technical responsibility.
You also embrace collaborative working styles across disciplines, with a commitment to continuous learning and mentoring junior engineers.
If you are seeking a role to expand your technical skills and take on greater project and leadership responsibilities, we would love to hear from you!
