What You'll Do
* Carry out routine field and lab testing on soil, aggregate, rock, and other materials to meet National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) standards.
* Work with specialist equipment such as nuclear densometers, compaction tools, and more.
* Set up, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
* Help with the receiving, logging, storing, and disposal of samples.
* Support project deadlines and communicate with internal clients along the way.
This role will develop real technical skills from day one—skills that can lead to senior technician roles, site‐based roles, or even engineering pathways.

Preferred Qualifications
* A team player with initiative, enthusiasm, and flexibility.
* Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
* Immediate start.
* Construction Induction (white card).
* Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques or willingness to undertake.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
* Basic mathematical skills to at least year 10 level.
* Manual driver's licence.
* Commitment to working safely.
All candidates will need to complete a pre‐employment medical and drug and alcohol test successfully prior to commencement of the position. Ongoing D&A testing will apply to the position as a requirement of the sites you work on.
