Job Description
We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Port Macquarie NSW area.
In this diverse role, you will have the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day. You will be supported by a strong, close team of healthcare professionals with the backing of a global corporate infrastructure. You will provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of physical and psychological conditions and support them to achieve return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes.
Your duties include
* Case management (caseloads are manageable and consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks).
* Applying clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes.
* Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
* Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals.
* Working across schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs.
* Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes.
* Completing a variety of assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable job opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or motor vehicle injuries.

Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology and fully registered with AHPRA or accredited with ESSA.
* Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded.
* Strong communication skills with clients and stakeholders.
* Compassion, kindness and empathy.
* Good time management skills.
* Current NSW Driver's Licence and access to own car with comprehensive insurance are essential.
