Office Receptionist – Full Time

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Office Receptionist to join our small but dynamic team. This full-time position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional attention to detail, and enjoys providing outstanding customer service.
About the Role
Working closely with our General Manager/Caretaker, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the office and guest services. This role offers a blend of guest interaction, property administration, and essential office support tasks that keep the business operating at a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing guest arrivals and departures, including check-ins and check-outs
* Conducting room checks to ensure quality and presentation standards
* Providing professional, friendly, and efficient customer service
* Daily use of REI Master for bookings, reservations, and property management
* Assisting with permanent rental operations, including:
* Processing tenants entering or exiting the letting pool
* Coordinating with owners, tenants, and the owner services team
* Processing rental payments & maintenance costs
* Owner relations, including:
* Communicating with apartment owners regarding updates, issues, and requests
* Supporting compliance with body corporate requirements and building by-laws
* Liaising with the body corporate where required
* General office administration and accurate data entry
* Basic bookkeeping, including reconciliations and simple banking tasks
* Maintaining records, correspondence, and compliance documentation
* Supporting the General manager/Caretaker with daily operations and ongoing projects
About You
We are looking for someone who is confident, reliable, and eager to be part of a well-run guest and property management operation. The ideal candidate will have:
* Fluency in REI Master Property Management System and confidence navigating booking and property systems
* Minimum 1+ years experience with REI Master Property Management System
* Strong computer literacy across general office applications
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Minimum 2+ years customer service experience in a professional environment
* Experience with permanent rentals, letting pools, or property management processes (highly regarded)
* Understanding of body corporate operations and by-law requirements (preferred)
* A Real Estate Certificate or Licence is favourable but not essential
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and confidently within a small team
* Previous experience in reception, administration, real estate, or hospitality is advantageous
* A professional presentation and a positive, proactive attitude
* Australian work rights are essential for this position
