Opening June 2026 on The Spit, Gold Coast, Mantaray Marina is a world-class destination marina offering 67 berths for vessels up to 60m. The marina will feature state-of-the-art facilities, private secure access, and premium amenities including The Mantaray Club, Captains Lounge and waterfront dining. With full-service concierge, direct access to the Asia-Pacific's largest refit hub, and operations aligned to Clean Marina and Gold Anchor standards, Mantaray Marina sets a new benchmark for luxury, convenience, and world-class yachting.
Role Purpose
The Marina Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and hospitality, ensuring operational excellence, and driving revenue growth. This role oversees all aspects of marina operations, including customer experience, asset maintenance, environmental compliance, financial management, and business development, to maintain Mantaray Marina's reputation as a world-class destination.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Hospitality
· Deliver a high level of marina customer service and hospitality, integrating full-concierge level services and ensuring a premium experience for all guests and vessel owners.
· Delivery of customer satisfaction platforms, resolving inquiries and issues promptly and professionally and ensuring continuous business improvement.
Revenue & Financial Management
· Maximise marina revenue through dynamic pricing strategies, integration of concierge services, and identification of new customer revenue opportunities.
· Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and provide regular reporting to senior management.
Environmental, Safety & Compliance
· Implement and maintain environmental and safety programs in line with
Clean Marinas
and
Gold Anchor
standards.
· Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, workplace health and safety laws, and emergency preparedness protocols.
Marketing, Business Development & Partnerships
* Foster strategic partnerships and brand collaborations to enhance the marina's offerings.
* Collaborate with marketing team to promote the marina offering and develop a strong customer brand that is renowned globally.
Asset Maintenance & Development
* Oversee marina asset maintenance programs to ensure facilities remain at a world-class standard.
* Plan and manage capital improvement projects to support long-term growth and customer satisfaction.
Technology & Systems
* Manage and continuously improve marina management software and digital tools for reservations, billing, services and customer communication.
* Drive digital transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
Team Leadership
* Lead and develop marina staff, promoting a culture of excellence, safety, and customer focus.
* Provide training and performance management to ensure high standards across all operations.
Skills & Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years proven experience in marina management, with a further 3+ years within the marina industry
* Strong knowledge of marina operations, environmental compliance, and safety standards.
* Commercial acumen with experience in revenue optimisation and business development.
* Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage budgets, assets, and projects effectively.
