We are a family-owned second-hand car dealership, located in Moorabbin. Vic.
We have been operating for the last 10 years and are currently recruiting new people for key roles in the business.
We strive to provide exceptional customer service and a seamless car-buying experience. We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic part-time Car Sales Representative to join our team.
Working Hours: 4 days per week (Can be extended to 6 days), 4-5 hours/Day (Afternoon hours)
**Responsibilities**:
As a second-hand car salesperson, your primary responsibility will be to assist customers to find the best suitable vehicle for them. Some of the role duties will include:
- Customer Engagement: Engage with potential buyers to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints, while creating a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere in the sales yard.
- Vehicle Presentation: Present our available inventory to customers, highlighting the key features, benefits and specifications of each vehicle, while providing accurate and relevant information to help customers make informed decisions.
- Sales Consultation: Act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through the car-buying process. Assist with test drives and address any questions or concerns they may have. Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience at all times.
- Negotiation and Sales Closure: Negotiate prices, terms and conditions to facilitate a successful sale. Prepare and review sales contracts, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow-Up and Relationship Management: Maintain contact with customers to foster long-term relationships and encourage repeat business. Provide after-sales support and address any issues or inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Product Knowledge and Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, features, and technologies in the automotive industry. Stay informed about competitors' offerings and market conditions to effectively position our vehicles and services.
- Safety Awareness: Maintain a safe and clean work environment in the sales yard/office.
**Qualifications and Requirements**:
- Previous experience in car sales or a customer-facing role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated and result oriented.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of automotive features, specifications, and market trends.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
**Salary**: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
