Occupational Health Professional
We are seeking experienced healthcare professionals to conduct workforce medicals and assessments, ensuring employees are fit for work and compliant with industry health standards.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive pre-employment/health assessments, including functional capacity assessments, drug & alcohol testing, and health surveillance checks.
You will also perform audiometry, spirometry, and ECGs as part of workplace medicals. Additionally, you will maintain accurate health records and work as part of a team to finalise compliant assessments.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Conducting health assessments, including functional capacity assessments, drug & alcohol testing, and health surveillance checks.
* Performing audiometry, spirometry, and ECGs as part of workplace medicals.
* Maintaining accurate health records and working as part of a team to finalise compliant assessments.
* Working in partnership with stakeholders, including doctors and other specialised health professionals, to deliver a streamlined health assessment service to candidates.
* Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
Requirements
* Registered Nurse (RN) with current AHPRA registration.
* Experience in occupational health, workplace assessments, or a clinical background in a similar setting is desirable but not essential.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously and as part of a larger team.
* Excellent administration and case management skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
