Kemin Animal Nutrition and Health Asia (“KAA”) is the Asia Pacific regional headquarters of Kemin Industries, Inc. based in Singapore. With a sales turnover of over US100 million, KAA operates in 15 markets comprising ASEAN, Australia, Japan, Korea, New Zealand and Taiwan. The Singapore regional headquarters house all the key functions of sales, marketing, human resource and finance. It is also the manufacturing and R&D powerhouse for all the 15 Asia Pacific markets. The Ruminant Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a successful sales strategy for the ruminant sector of Australia and New Zealand. He/she is responsible for ensuring consolidated sales revenue budgets for the ruminant sector are met or exceeded through effective sales efforts. LI-KT1 Responsible for the achievement of the sale revenue of set budget for the ruminant market in both Kemin Australia and New Zealand every fiscal year. Provide technical presentations to customers. Manage pricing in coordination with Kemin’s distributor and directions set by the Head of Ruminant in both markets. Providing technical and product knowledge support to customers and Kemin’s distributor. Bachelor’s degree in animal science, nutrition, animal husbandry and ruminant related field would be an advantage. Three years and above experience in technical sales in the ruminant sector preferred. Outstanding presentation, selling and negotiating skills. Capability to communicate value-added propositions using sound technical and commercial principles. Results-oriented. Clear, persistent, patient, and proactive communication skills. Self-motivated, able to work in an unsupervised capacity whilst maintaining focus. Excellent distributor management and relationship-building skills. Working Conditions: The position is based in the Australia or NZ and will require extensive domestic travel (Minimum 50%) to visit major ruminant farms and regions.
