Remote Australia Employment Service Program (RAES) Specialist
Based in Darwin (Darwin Support Office) with travel to remote Indigenous communities, you will play a critical role in ensuring the Remote Australia Employment Service Program (RAES) adheres to all regulatory requirements and maintains exceptional quality standards.
Reporting directly to the Performance Support Manager, you will assist in empowering First Nations people through compliance and quality assurance work.
Responsibilities
* Regularly monitor service delivery to ensure compliance with KPIs and contract guidelines.
* Perform internal audits to identify areas of non‐compliance and recommend corrective actions.
* Ensure accurate and timely collection, analysis, and reporting of program data for submission to the National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA).
* Collaborate closely with remote site teams, community members, and employers to promote best practices and implement recent performance processes.
* Provide training, resources, and contract guidance to staff on program requirements and obligations.
* Prepare and submit detailed weekly and monthly compliance reports, performance metrics, and audit documentation.
* Build trust and maintain reliable, consistent interactions with remote site teams.
* Proactively identify and report risks and hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in compliance, quality assurance, or senior administration roles.
* High‐level attention to detail and strong planning, time management, and organizational skills.
* Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills, with exceptional customer service abilities.
* Competence in data management and analysis, with strong computer skills in the Microsoft Suite and business systems.
* A problem‐solving mindset with the ability to think strategically, innovate, and thrive under pressure to meet KPI targets.
* Ability to utilize AI tools for creative writing, training, and development.
* Desired: Experience using the Employment and Community Services Network (ECSN) or other Employment Service Systems (ESS).
* Desired: Knowledge and understanding of the RAES Program contract and experience conducting training sessions or workshops.
Mandatory Requirements
* Alignment with the values and purpose of ALPA.
* Willingness to travel to remote Indigenous communities and the ability to travel via light aircraft or 4WD vehicles.
* Standard national police and Working with Children clearances required.
