Family Counselling Role Overview
We are seeking a Family Counsellor to join our team at Gympie. As part of our Family and Relationship Service, you will provide individual, couple, and group counselling to strengthen family relationships and prevent breakdown.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provide therapeutic counselling services to clients with various issues, including domestic violence, child abuse, relationship discord, grief, and loss.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the wellbeing and safety of children and adults in families.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or Behavioural Science from a recognised institution, coupled with prior experience.
* Qld Suitability Card for Child Related Employment (Blue Card).
* Current Driver's Licence.
