Qualifications & experience
* Diploma of Remedial Massage or higher degrees
* Able to register with Hicaps to claims for health insuracne
* A minimum 3 years full time experience in massage indulstry
* Strong communication skills and a passion for the industry
* Day, evening and weekend work available - flexible working hours
Tasks & responsibilities
* Compliance with professional standards and government regulations
* Good teamwork, listening and observational skills to develop effective treatment programs and in a timely manner
* Good understanding of record keeping, Draw up a course of treatment and help client schedule next appointment.
* Great hands-on skills in Remedial Massage and other associated therapy such as Cupping ,dry needling etc. Check the location of the pain and determine where the specific pain point needs to be treated
* Participate in continued professional development to update and maintain professional knowledge and skills
* Develop, document, and implement individualised treatment plans tailored to clients' conditions and therapeutic goals, including remedial, sports, pregnancy, or relaxation massage, in accordance with professional standards and scope of practice.
* Apply massage techniques to manipulate muscles and soft tissues using hands and approved physical treatment aids to treat injuries, chronic conditions, or support general health and wellness.
* Maintain accurate and confidential client treatment records, including SOAP notes, using appropriate clinical terminology and professional documentation standards.
* Build and maintain a strong client caseload using your excellent interpersonal skills, effectively interacting with patients, their carers and family, and Insurers where relevant
