Customer Service / Retail Front of House Position - 4 - 5 Days per week (including every Saturday).
We are looking for trusty, well-presented front of house staff member to supplement our existing garden supplies team, this role will involve working 3 - 4 days per week and each Saturday. Contingent on their placement, front of house staff may be responsible for receiving phone calls, allocation of jobs to various truck combinations, assisting customers with their orders, and conveying their requests to our operations or transport team.
To be successful as the retail front of house staff member, you should be outgoing, punctual, personable, and have a high attention to detail. While garden supplies or allocations experience would be great, we are more focused on the right candidate to fulfil the required position.
Responsibilities include but not limited to: -
* Deal directly with customers or suppliers either by telephone, electronically or face to face
* Respond promptly to customer inquiries
* Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product inquiries
* Provide pricing and delivery information
* Process orders, forms, and requests
* Organise transport workflow to meet customer timeframes
* Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated manager
* Maintain customers' accounts and databases
* Keep records of customer interactions and transactions
* Record details of inquiries, comments, and complaints
* Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
* Follow up on customer interactions
* Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process
