Newearth Constructions is a Civil Construction Company operating out of Romsey, north of Melbourne. The Role
The role involves the overall management and continuous improvement of our systems and supporting our project teams. The successful applicant will lead the preparation and implementation of plans, strategies and audits to ensure compliance with the appropriate industry standards. The role is focussed on ensuring the company safely delivers high-quality results in all its operations. The effective implementation of our systems is fundamental to the success of our business and your ability to lead and drive this is a key function of the position.
Experience and Skills
The position requires a qualification in OHS, Quality or Environmental Management (or willingness to obtain same) together with an understanding of the application of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards and appropriate legislation. Importantly, you would also have a practical understanding of Civil Construction from previous involvement in the industry in a similar or related role and display the following qualities:
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise and work collaboratively with the work crews, clients, authorities and members of the public.
· Excellent time management and organisation skills.
· High levels of motivation with the ability to show initiative and self-start.
· Excellent computer literacy in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
· Capacity to organise and manage tasks productively and efficiently while identifying and implementing business improvement opportunities.
· Ability to provide advice and make effective and timely decisions with strong attention to detail.
· An unwavering commitment to confidentiality. As the company operates in a highly competitive environment, absolute confidentiality is essential and a fundamental condition of the employment agreement.
