Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial records of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
* Manage accounts payable and receivable
* Process invoices and payments
* Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
* Prepare financial reports and statements
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting
* Maintain accurate financial records
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
* Communicate with vendors and clients regarding financial matters
* Assist with payroll processing
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
* 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

We are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Administrator on a part time basis (25 hours per week), to commence immediately. This position may offer the option to move to full time in the future.
Key Responsibilities
* Receipting payments and reconciling
* Following up on outstanding payments
* Producing daily stop supply list
* Credit applications
* Answering incoming telephone calls
* Collecting mail from the post office
* Daily pickups from our other local locations
* Monthly ordering of amenities and stationery as required
* General office administration and support to the administration and accounts team
What We are Looking For
* Previous experience in a similar accounts/admin role
* Proficiency with MYOB is preferred
* Understanding of Microsoft Office software
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* Current and valid NT Drivers License.
