Job Description This role is responsible for providing administrative and coordination support for Royal Far West’s Child & Family Services, ensuring we provide high quality, client-centred and timely support to clients. Key responsibilities: Liaising with families attending Royal Far West (online or in-person in Manly) to schedule appointments across a team of multidisciplinary clinicians and coordinate referrals, travel arrangements and accommodation. Developing and managing relationships with parents, carers and school staff to effectively guide them through Royal Far West’s programs and support service delivery Providing operational support to a team of multidisciplinary health professionals/clinicians Utilising multiple complex operational systems to coordinate client care, schedule appointments and manage daily tasks. Desired Skills and Experience YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a coordination and/or administrative role. High quality customer service skills with the ability to deliver to culturally and socio-economically diverse customers. The ability to work flexibly and autonomously in a dynamic environment. A demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and maintain a high level of attention to detail. The ability to self-manage and be resilient to multiple stakeholder demands. A proactive and action driven attitude with proven problem-solving skills. The ability to navigate and operate multiple complex computer systems and databases, as well as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A demonstrated ability to exercise judgment, confidentiality, initiative, and diplomacy. Desirable Criteria Experience in a clinical coordination role, including the ability to use Medical/Patient Administration Systems. Experience in the not-for-profit sector, health and/or education sectors. An interest in child development and rural issues.
