Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our team in our Ravenhall office. In this role, you will be responsible to provide assistance to the Commercial Manager in accounting tasks, invoicing, month end/reporting and reviews.
Main activities/responsibilities include:
- Actively support Commercial Manager improve business operating efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare and process invoices.
- Postage, Programming and Supply reconciliation.
- Assist with debt collection when required.
- Manage CPI notifications.
- Setting up and maintaining accounts with new vendors.
- Create PO’s and Process accounts payable invoices.
- Ad-hoc projects and reporting.
- Contribute to overall Financial Management of Business Unit.
- Process and verification of weekly payroll/maintenance of Dimensions data.
- Assist with weekly payroll queries/processing leave.
- Support to State based teams relating to Finance functions.
- Invoicing from Prism and MIPS to Oracle ITSS.
- Assist Site Manager and Sales teams as required.
- End of month duties.

- Accounting systems/program experience
- Accounting / reconciliation experience (intermediate)
- Intermediate Microsoft Word / Excel knowledge
- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work autonomously
- Methodical with an eye for detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation
- Strong customer service ethic and understanding of internal and external customer needs
Qualifications and typical experience:
- 4-5 years Accounting Administration experience
- Minimum Advanced Diploma in Accounting
Special Circumstances:
- Motor vehicle license for banking requirements
- Occasional interstate travel to attend training
- Must be eligible to legally work in Australia
