Project Director - Renewable Energy
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to oversee the construction of a large-scale renewable energy project. This fixed-term role requires a confident and capable leader with 15+ years of experience in managing major infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
About the Role
* Lead and manage the full lifecycle of construction activities on the Calala BESS project.
* Ensure timely delivery within scope, quality, and budget parameters.
* Develop and manage detailed construction schedules and budgets.
* Supervise and coordinate all contractor and vendor engagements.
* Maintain strict compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
* Provide transparent and accurate project reporting to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

About You
* Degree-qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* 15+ years of experience managing major infrastructure or renewable energy construction projects.
* Deep knowledge of construction methodologies, project management principles, and regulatory frameworks.
* Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence, motivate, and manage diverse stakeholders on site.
* Strong commercial acumen and experience managing contracts, budgets, and timelines effectively.
