We are seeking multiple 'Associate' level candidates to support the renewable energy industry in derisking construction projects.
The roles involve project managing the tendering and contracting process with the goal of supporting Australia's emissions targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implementation of tenders to secure new renewable generation and dispatchable capacity.
* Day-to-day program management of on-foot tenders in collaboration with external delivery partners.
* Ensuring probity and governance of on-foot tenders in consultation with delivery partners and probity and legal advisers.
Tender Delivery Team
* Work closely with key stakeholders, external legal and commercial advisers, and delivery partners to design, negotiate, and execute Agreements.
* Contribute to the design and implementation of tenders.
* Ensure appropriate processes and governance is in place for on-foot tenders and negotiations in consultation with delivery partners and probity and legal advisers.
Requirements
* Candidates should have circa 3-6 years of experience within the renewable energy or electricity transmission & distribution market in Australia.
* Exposure to energy sector and/or infrastructure project development experience is preferred but not required.
* An understanding of competitive tender processes and an ability to consider trade-offs and advantages/disadvantages of competing options.
* An ability to make sound recommendations based on reasoned analysis and consideration of practical and commercial impacts.
This role requires a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
