Job Description
Serco Richmond, New South Wales, Australia provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across the country.
This position offers a unique opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse to provide quality clinical care to patients, develop and maintain patient care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure co-ordinated patient management.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work autonomously in a busy environment and possess strong communication skills to put patients at ease.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality clinical care to patients
* Develop and maintain effective patient care plans
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide seamless patient management
* Conduct thorough assessments and coordinate outpatient and inpatient treatments
Requirements
* Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Minimum of 12 months postgraduate experience within the last 5 years in an acute care, primary health care, or military setting (or part-time equivalent)
* Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA
* Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification
About This Role
This position is located at RAAF Base Richmond, home to the C-130J Hercules medium transport aircraft. The facility provides a range of medical services to Defence members.
