Insurance Solicitor
We are seeking a solicitor to join our leading Brisbane Insurance team working with Patrick Cavanagh, Partner.

Responsibilities:
* Act as coverage and defence counsel on claims for damages for personal injury made under professional indemnity policies of insurance (including against real estate agencies, property managers, allied health professionals).
* Act as coverage and defence counsel on occupational regulation matters and investigations (including Coronial inquests and investigations) of professionals.
* Provide advice on indemnity with respect to claims on professional indemnity policies of insurance relating to personal injuries.
* Provide advice on indemnity related to occupational regulation matters and investigations of allied health professionals.
* Act as defence counsel in relation to personal injury claims, occupational regulation and investigations.
Qualifications:
* 2+ years PQE with litigation experience.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Practical, client‑focused problem‑solving and research skills.
* Ability to manage client expectations and run matters autonomously.
* Desire to be an integral member of a strong, cohesive team.
* Commercial acumen.
* Strong, plain‑language communication style.
* Interest in establishing a long‑term career with Colin Biggers & Paisley.
