About the Opportunity
We are seeking consultants across Australia at Senior level and above to join our team. A demonstrable specialist in human factors, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our major infrastructure projects are safe, intuitive, and accessible for everyone.
This is a key position where you will be the bridge between technology and people. You should be confident in communicating and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, including engineers, clients, and end-users. Your expertise will be crucial in translating complex technical requirements into user-friendly and inclusive designs.
Key Responsibilities
* Technical Advisory: develop and deliver human factors integration approaches throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept and feasibility through to detailed design and construction.
* Design Integration: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams, including architects, engineers, and urban planners, to integrate human factors into complex public and private infrastructure.
* Stakeholder Liaison: Represent Sener in consultations with clients, regulatory bodies, and community groups to capture and communicate user requirements and community expectations.
About You
* Industry Tenure: Proven experience in a consultancy or internal advisory role, preferably within the large‑scale infrastructure or transport sectors.
* Communication Excellence: Advanced report‑writing skills and the ability to articulate technical compliance requirements to diverse project stakeholders clearly and persuasively.
* Proven experience in human factors, with a related degree level qualification.
* Proven ability to confidently engage with and influence senior stakeholders, engineers, and clients.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
* A passion for creating designs that are not only functional but also safe, efficient, and accessible to all.
* A proactive and collaborative mindset, ready to tackle complex challenges and contribute to a high‑performing team.
Requirements
* A relevant degree (bachelor or masters)
* Membership of a relevant professional body, with a desire to achieve registered/chartered status
* At least 3 years of relevant experience
