The role
This is a senior leadership role spanning brand strategy, growth, lifecycle, content, partnerships, and communications across our clinic and consumer brands. You will own the full marketing function, lead a small high‐performing team, and work closely with Clinical and Product to ensure marketing is a genuine driver of business performance.
You will have full accountability for growth metrics, budget, and performance — and the strategic remit to shape how Nectar and its brands show up in the market.

Who you are
You are a seasoned, commercially driven marketing leader who has built and scaled marketing functions before. You think at the strategic level but stay close enough to the work to drive real outcomes.
You have strong commercial instincts, a track record of owning growth outcomes, and the confidence to shape a brand narrative as readily as you interrogate channel performance.
Healthcare experience is valued but not essential — we are open to exceptional marketers from consumer, digital health, or other regulated or complex categories. We are not looking for a pure brand or pure performance marketer. We need breadth, commercial depth, and genuine leadership capability.
What you'll be responsible for:
Marketing strategy: Own and evolve Nectar's marketing strategy across clinic and consumer brands, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, revenue objectives, and business goals.
Go‐to‐market: Lead GTM execution for new clinic, product, and consumer brand launches in close partnership with Commercial and Product.
Growth & acquisition: Own B2C and B2B acquisition strategy across paid and organic digital, SEO, referral, partnerships, earned media, and brand and community channels.
Lifecycle & retention: Own the full patient lifecycle strategy with a focus on retention, reactivation, upsell, and long‐term patient value.
Campaign planning & delivery: Lead campaign planning and delivery across digital, social, owned, and earned channels, ensuring compliance with TGA advertising requirements.
Partnerships & B2B: Lead the development of strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, professional associations, pharmacy groups, and aligned consumer brands.
Content & PR: Partner with the Head of Content to ensure content output is aligned with brand, acquisition, and lifecycle objectives, and oversee brand PR and executive thought leadership.
Social & community: Oversee social and community strategy as a channel for education, trust‐building, engagement, and advocacy.
Budget & performance: Own the marketing budget and performance dashboard, allocating investment to maximise commercial return, with accountability for growth metrics including CAC, LTV, and retention performance.
Team & agency leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high‐performing team of marketers and designers, while managing external agencies and suppliers.
About you
8+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2–3 years in a senior or head of role.
Proven track record owning marketing outcomes end‐to‐end — strategy through to execution.
Strong commercial acumen with hands‐on experience across growth, lifecycle, and brand.
Experience leading and developing small teams and managing external agencies.
Digitally fluent across acquisition, lifecycle, and performance channels, with strong comfort working with data and reporting tools.
Experience in healthcare, wellness, regulated, or complex consumer categories is valued but not required.
