The Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) is currently seeking applications for a ServiceNow Technical Specialist to join the Enterprise Technology Group (ETG).
This full-time ongoing role can be located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney or Perth, and we offer flexible working arrangements including the ability to regularly work from home.
Remuneration: The annual salary range for the position is APS6 - $94,563 - $106,394 p.a., plus a generous employer superannuation contribution of 15.4%.
Please note, our Enterprise Agreement will deliver a 3.4% pay increase from 12 March 2026.
About the opportunity:
Reporting to the Assistant Director and working as part of a geographically dispersed team, this role is responsible for providing ongoing support and development to the ART's internal service management system (ServiceNow).
ServiceNow Technical Specialists provide quality hands on ServiceNow development and support whilst delivering authoritative advice and guidance to operations teams. The role will consist of development utilising JavaScript and ServiceNow out of the box functionality to allow the ServiceNow system to increase application delivery capacity and speed the delivery of solutions supporting ETG's program of work.
You will work and grow with a dedicated team of enthusiastic and friendly colleagues across the country, supported by ongoing learning and development opportunities.
About you:
An IT professional with a positive attitude, you will be eager to contribute to the development of approaches, methodology, standards, guides, and processes aligned with industry best practice in a supportive, national team environment. You will enjoy problem solving, working collaboratively with others, and take pride in the solutions you deliver.
GRC and ITOM experience will be highly regarded.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Strong ServiceNow product knowledge and development skills
Ability to analyse business needs, design practical solutions, and translate them into technical outcomes
Strong stakeholder management skills
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
Essential:
Vocational certification in ServiceNow Technology
Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
Australian Citizenship
All employees are required to undertake an Australian Federal Police Check and complete a health declaration
Desirable:
Academic qualification (degree, postgraduate) in technology and/or aligned qualifications
Vocational certification in modern technologies (e.g., Agile, network, cloud, platforms)
