Assistant Manager Job Description
This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team and drive business growth. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a venue, including managing staff, implementing strategies, and providing coaching and training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Business Growth: Develop and implement plans to increase revenue and profitability
* Operations Management: Manage the opening and closing procedures, back-of-house administration, and staff recruitment and rostering
* Staff Development: Provide coaching and training to enhance staff skills and knowledge
You will work closely with a large, multi-skilled team and be responsible for celebrating milestones and achievements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in hospitality management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Hospitality Leadership Experience: Preferably in food, bars, and gaming
* Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers
* Team Management: Ability to lead and develop a large team
* Operational Experience: Experience in achieving financial and business targets
* Customer Service Skills: Highly developed customer service skills
* Licenses: Current industry RSA, RCG, and Gaming Licence
