Administrative Support Role
This is a contract position for an administrative support professional to work with our government client in Townsville.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and process purchase orders according to internal procurement policies.
* Manage finance and procurement activities including requisitions, billing and invoicing, receipting and purchasing, contract and order management, travel bookings and expense processing.
* Receive stock and match invoices against deliveries and purchase orders.
* Process financial transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
* Oversee the management of consumables including inventory control, order forecasting and placement, stocktaking and reporting, usage tracking and budget alignment.
Requirements:
* Prior experience in a similar administrative or finance role.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
* A high level of attention to detail and data accuracy.
