Procurement Category Manager, Marketing and Print
About the Role:
This role will support the delivery of internal customer needs and deliver against the annual sourcing plans to drive value, including cost reduction, inflation mitigation, working capital, and revenue-generating benefits. The successful candidate will work closely with a highly innovative and collaborative team to negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing, favorable terms, and service level agreements.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting Sourcing Execution, including Sourcing Strategy, Pre-Qualification, RFx Creation & Release, RFx Analysis, Contract Negotiation, Preparation of Recommendation (including required risk assessments), Award Decision Management, Contract Preparation
* Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing, favorable terms, and service level agreements
* End-to-end Contract Management, including Contract Sign-off, Contract Review & Administration, Supplier Contract Compliance
* Support Supplier Management, including Supplier Performance (addressing issues or discrepancies), Supplier Enablement, Supplier & Panel Development
* Work end-to-end as one team across a diverse range of stakeholders, including Procurement, across the business, including Marketing, Legal, Finance & Risk, and with key supply partners
* Support Procurement components of the Group Marketing Transformation program, as the Group implements Marketing Technology (MarTech) and automation tools to build sustainable, future-ready marketing capabilities that will serve our customers in personalized, localized ways
Requirements:
* Procurement Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in procurement, preferably within Corporate Services and Marketing
* Negotiation Skills: Strong commercial and negotiation skills with a proven history of delivering substantial, long-term EBITDA benefits
* Relationship Management: The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with both stakeholders and suppliers
* Strategic Knowledge: A solid understanding of procurement best practices, principles, and category management processes
* Contract & Change Management: Proficient in contract management, as well as managing change and communication processes
* Analytical Abilities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
