Cert III or a Cert IV Educator & Transport Aide– Djinda Dreaming Education - Leda
Djinda Dreaming Education-Leda is seeking a passionate Cert III or Cert IV Educator to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a culturally rich, inclusive environment that values connection to Country and community.
In this dual role, you will not only support our OSHC program but also assist our Transport Services team as a Transport Aid, helping children travel safely to and from the centre.

The Role
As a valued member of our team, you will:
* Supervise and actively engage with children during before school, after school and vacation care programs.
* Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all children in care, following National Quality Standards and service policies.
* Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the wider school community.
* Contribute to maintaining compliance with all relevant legislation, including duty of care, child protection, and WHS standards.
* Keep accurate records, including attendance, incident and program documentation as required.
As a Transport Aid you will be responsible for:
* Assist in the safe embarking and disembarking of children on and off the vehicle.
* Support the driver in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children during transport.
* Maintain accurate attendance/roll checks for transported children.
* Provide reassurance and supervision to children during travel.
* Communicate respectfully with children, families, and staff.
* Uphold health and safety standards at all times.
Hours: 6.30am – 9:30am & 2:30pm – 6:30pm
Vacation care hours is a full shift of 7.6 hours
Monday to Friday only — no weekend work
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Cert III in Early Childhood Education or Certificate IV in School Age Education and Care (or equivalent/recognised qualification).
* Experience working with school-aged children in OSHC, childcare, or community services.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with children and families.
* A positive, flexible and proactive attitude with a commitment to teamwork.
* Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain).
* Enthusiasm, creativity and a genuine passion for working with children
* Sound knowledge of the NQS and EYLF
* Flexibility to work a spilt shift
