About the Role
Machine Operator – Mechanical (Santos Project, Cooper Basin)
As a Machine Operator you will support lease builds and beam pump construction in the Cooper Basin, operating machinery and assisting with mechanical works on a 2/2 or 3/2 roster.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the mechanical construction of lease builds and beam pumps.
* Assist the ground crew with mechanical tasks.
* Operate backhoe, skid steer and Franna.
* Conduct general civil earthworks.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Open Manual Driver's Licence (HR desirable)
* Construction White Card (mandatory)
* Backhoe and skid steer tickets (desirable)
* High regard for safety and teamwork
* 4WD Qualification – Mandatory, 5 years
* Driver's Licence – Mandatory
* Gas Test Atmospheres – Mandatory, 3 years
* Medical – Fitness For Work (Onshore) – Mandatory, 3 years
* Backhoe/loader operations – Mandatory
* Civil construction excavator operations – Mandatory
* Skid steer operations – Mandatory
* Trailer Towing – Desired, 5 years
* Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) – Desired, 1 year
* First Aid – Desired, 3 years
* Relevant Civil Construction Qualification – Desired
