The Role
Are you ready to design the future of leadership and talent for Snowy Hydro? We have an exciting opportunity for a Leadership and Succession Consultant to support the development and delivery of learning and leadership initiatives across the organisation. This role is perfect for someone eager to make a difference, design content, drive training and take their career to the next level within a supportive and innovative environment.
This is an 8‐month fixed‐term, full‐time position based in our Melbourne, Sydney or Cooma office.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deliver high‐impact learning and leadership development programs using workshops, coaching, online, and blended approaches.
* Drive key elements of the talent review and succession planning process, including data preparation, session coordination, and follow‐up.
* Lead the implementation and embedding of Snowy Hydro's capability and career frameworks across the business.
* Manage the end‐to‐end delivery of assigned talent initiatives or projects to ensure timely and effective outcomes.
* Provide expert coaching and guidance to business stakeholders on leadership expectations, development planning, and talent practices.
* Evaluate learning initiatives by measuring their effectiveness and recommending improvements based on feedback and business outcomes.
* Mentor and support Consultants within the team to build internal capability and ensure high standards of delivery.
* Champion innovation and continuous improvement in Snowy's leadership, talent development, and succession offerings.
About You
* Minimum 3 years experience in learning and development.
* Thorough knowledge of adult learning principles and methodologies.
* Proven learning / instructional design experience.
* Practical experience in delivering training in leadership, technical and soft skills.
* Experience in conducting learning needs analysis.
* Experience working with competency frameworks.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distil and present data clearly.
