Job Opportunity: Industrial Service Specialist
A leading company is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of an Industrial Service Specialist. This exciting opportunity will involve working in a fast-paced environment, assembling, supplying, and installing hoses, tubes, and fittings for industrial applications.
In this challenging position, you will be responsible for maintaining customer records, attending service calls, and ensuring all policy and procedure requirements are met. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to upsell services and products while on customer service calls.
The successful candidate will possess trade or field services experience in fitting, mechanical, hydraulics or similar trade, with excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills. A strong work ethic, pride in workmanship, and ability to arrange and plan priorities are essential for this role.
This permanent full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate, plus opportunities for overtime and commissions. You will also receive a company car and enjoy a rotational call-out roster, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble, supply, and install hoses, tubes, and fittings to equipment and machinery
* Maintain customer records with all necessary information regarding orders, quotes, and product information
* Attend all assigned service calls
* Upsell services and products while on customer service calls
* Ensure all policy, procedure, and safety requirements are met
Key Requirements:
* Trade or field services experience in fitting, mechanical, hydraulics, or similar trade
* Excellent numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills
* Strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
* Ability to arrange and plan priorities
* Proactive problem-solving skills
* Good understanding of OHS and Safe Work Practices
* Medical fitness for the task
* Well-presented and groomed
* Flexibility with working hours
Benefits:
* $45-$65 per hour + opportunity for overtime + commissions
* All call-outs at double time (minimum 3 hours paid)
* Rotational call-out roster approx every 3 weeks for 1 week at a time
