We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified Registered Nurses who are looking for an exciting career opportunity within the Cancer Centre for Children in the Paediatric Cancer Genetics Risk CNC2 position at the Children's Hospital at Westmead.
This is a full time, temporary contract, commencing January 2025 through to 22nd June 2026.
The Paediatric Cancer Genetics Risk Clinical Nurse Consultant, grade 2 (CNC2) will develop and implement service frameworks for the Kids with Cancer -Paediatric Cancer Genetic Risk (CGR) Program, as well as coordinate the management and follow up of patients identified as having Cancer Predisposition Syndromes.
What you'll be doing
The Clinical Nurse / Midwife Consultant (CNC/CMC) will provide expert clinical care and education to children and their families within a defined specialty.
The role provides a consultancy and educational focus for ward based nurses in the care of children and their families.
In collaboration and consultation with key stakeholders, the CNC/CMC will undertake primary responsibility for on‐going education, development and evaluation of clinical practice.
