We currently have two full time positions available, in the Rockingham and Baldivis areas.
What is our Area Dental Officer role?
The Area Dental Officer directs and oversees the operations of the School Dental Service in these areas. As well as managing staff and maintaining equipment, you will also provide routine and advanced clinical treatment to enrolled children. You will also develop epidemiological data for the clinical area and initiate relevant community dental care programs aimed at improving dental health in the community by liaison with dentists, service organisations, education and local authorities and relevant community groups.

About Dental Health Services (DHS)
DHS is part of the North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) and is the largest public dental health services provider in WA, operating state-wide from a network of fixed and mobile clinics, funded by the WA Government. DHS provides the School Dental Service (SDS) for children aged 5-16 years, General Dental Services to eligible adults with a current health care card or pension concession card, Subsidy Schemes and Special Dental Services.
