We are seeking a skilled Collector to join our team, providing exceptional patient care and support in our medical laboratories and collection centers.
Job Description:
As a Collector, you will be responsible for collecting samples with care and attention, keeping meticulous records, delivering documentation within strict turnaround times, preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing, and liaising with customers, clinic staff, and couriers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy/Certificate III in Pathology Collection or healthcare background
* Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy
* Organized, with strong time management and attention to detail
* Able to work autonomously, sometimes in solo clinics
* Holds a valid Driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics
* Working with Children's Check or willing to obtain one
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency, New Zealand citizenship, or valid visa with permission to work
* Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B is required
* Other vaccinations based on location may be required
