Paid employment: 12-month part-time traineeship with salary
Fully funded qualification: Certificate III in Sport, Aquatics and Recreation

The Role on Offer
Reporting to the Head of Sport, you will support HPE staff and help grow student participation in quality sporting programs. In this part-time role, you will:
* Engage in a diverse range of tasks, including attending camps, excursions and outdoor education activities
* Assist with organising umpires, coaches, team kits, maintaining sports equipment / storerooms, coordinating transport and venues for events
* Support the planning for carnivals and camps, managing WHS risk assessments and communicating with students, families, colleagues and external services
* Under supervision, help run PE lessons, provide First Aid and oversee the organisation of daily equipment and camping gear

We are seeking a motivated, reliable and enthusiastic individual with an interest in sport, recreation and supporting young people.

* An interest in developing a career in sport and education
* No prior experience in a school or sports setting is required – training and support will be provided.

What You'll Receive
* National Training Wage Award from $27,300 – $42,000 pro-rata, plus 12% Superannuation
