Responsibilities
* Build and implement a strategic plan to gain market share for the localised area.
* Coaching and developing competencies in the team, focusing on continuous improvement and performance and career development goals.
* Prioritise business performance through tracking KPIs, reporting, and creating strategic plans.
* Work closely with the Community Bank board to build and nurture community relationships, serve as the face of the brand, participate in events, and become the go‐to person for banking in the area.
* Lead by example, prioritise the customer experience, and step in wherever the branch needs you.
* Engage in lifelong learning, taking on on‐the‐job training and other learning opportunities to advance your career.
* Build connections, support customers, give back, and make communities better while enjoying the role.
Position Details
12 month fixed term contract, full‐time position, located in Lindfield.
Qualifications
* People leadership with the ability to develop, coach and manage staff performance.
* Proven sales mentorship. Implement strategies to drive business.
* Experience in residential and commercial lending (essential).
* Strong communication skills to deliver clear branch expectations.
* Understanding of financial management, business acumen, and risk framework.
* Ability to drive operational efficiencies and maintain high standards of compliance.
* High level understanding of lending products, policies and regulations.
* Knowledge of retail branch operations.
