About the Role
Duties
- Prepare cold foods and ingredients for cooking (weighing, measuring, mixing, portioning, chopping, and storing food)
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist, establishing priority items
- Monitor food quality while preparing food
- Serve food in proper portions onto dishes, plates, mugs, and bowls, ensuring proper plate appearance
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
Skills & Experience
- Minimum Certificate 3 in Cookery
- I’m Alert Food Safety Certification (from City of Perth)
- Unrestricted working rights for Australia
- Availability to work on Friday and Saturday
