Over the last 18 years, Amovita has offered a comprehensive range of services, including generalist Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services, critical incident response, outplacement support, mediation, conflict resolution, training, mentoring, coaching, and professional supervision to over 400 organisations and businesses.
The Role:
We are currently seeking qualified and experienced EAP professionals, such as Psychologists, Social Workers, and Counsellors, to join our team on a contract basis in Hobart, Tasmania. As part of our Workplace Employee Support Service (WESS) team, you'll work directly with clients, offering contemporary counselling approaches and interventions. Your role will involve providing EAP counselling, critical incident debriefing, and other clinical services to clients in Hobart, as well as delivering telehealth services to clients in other states.
We are looking for a positive, self-directed, and highly motivated professional with a qualification in social work, psychology, or counselling, and at least two years of professional experience. Leadership experience is also a plus.

Skills and Experience:
Formal qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, and/or Masters of Counselling.
Demonstrated and relevant experience in a similar role (minimum of 2 years).
Ability to understand the contexts of practice.
Ability to work in a self-directed manner.
Membership to, or ability to gain membership of, a Professional Association.
Insurance, or ability to gain Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.
Working with Vulnerable Persons Check.
Police Check.
Driver's License and comprehensive vehicle insurance.
