About the role
TVH is seeking a skilled and experienced FIFO HVAC Technician to join our team in the Pilbarra. As a FIFO HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems across our remote operations. This is a casual role, offering the opportunity to work on a fly-in, fly-out basis.
What you'll be doing
1. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems
2. Perform preventative maintenance and servicing on HVAC equipment
3. Install and commission new HVAC systems
4. Maintain detailed records and documentation of all work completed
5. Comply with all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
6. Provide technical support and mentoring to junior team members
What we're looking for
1. Formal qualifications in HVAC or refrigeration, such as a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
2. Minimum 3 years' experience as an HVAC Technician, preferably in a FIFO or remote operations setting
3. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills
6. Current driver's licence and ability to obtain relevant licences/permits for remote work
