Expression of Interest The Office of the Chief Finance Officer (OCFO) is a central function supporting the Chief Finance Officer in their duties across the breadth of daily, project, and strategic responsibilities. It provides support and services across the Branch and is a central point of coordination and communication to help drive professional development and enhancement of Branch culture. The Office drives consistency of reporting and a focused effort to streamline and improve overall Finance Branch operations and performance. We are seeking a Senior Executive Support Officer to provide high-level operational administration and executive support services to the Chief Finance Officer. You will ensure organisational efficiency by coordinating business planning and strategic initiatives, while streamlining the operational workflows required to support the Finance Branch and the Office of the Chief Finance Officer team. About you * High level interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication; demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively with sensitive issues, with officers at all levels with integrity, tact, ethical conduct, confidentiality and ensuring client interest. * Demonstrated high standard and experience of administrative support skills to deal effectively with sensitive issues and people at all levels in a high-pressure environment including, knowledge of departmental financial and administrative processes and reporting requirements, and information systems relevant to the business. * Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and work cooperatively, effectively and collaboratively within a team environment with the aptitude to work autonomously and utilise discretion in the absence of decision makers; and to meet deadlines and establish work priorities to maximise efficiency, work output and the changing needs of the team. * Demonstrated ability to analyse issues, establish a course of action and adopt a pro-active attitude with minimum direction, whilst delivering work of a high quality, validity and accuracy to achieve team outcomes.
