**Medical Workforce Administrator (Junior Medical Staff)**
**Medical Workforce Unit**
**Ongoing Full Time Position - 40 hours per week with a monthly ADO**

The Medical Workforce Unit provides the workforce support to Medical Services to the Women's Hospital. The Women's has over 340 Senior Medical Staff, 165 EFT of Junior Medical Staff in rotational positions and a significant cohort of Honorary appointments to ensure that we continue to as a leader in maternity services and the care of newborn babies, gynaecology, assisted reproduction, women's health and cancer services.
Our major areas of focus are recruitment and retention, orientation and induction, rostering, credentialing, leave management, assistance with budget forecasting and workforce planning for all Medical Staff.
We work closely with the Chief Medical Officer, Director of Maternity Services and Director of Gynaecological Services, Unit Heads, Clinical Director of Services, Unit Heads/Team Leaders and People, Culture and Wellbeing.
The key responsibilities for this position are:
- Operational Management for the Neonatology and Women's Emergency Care Junior Medical Staff Portfolio's
- Assist JMS Medical Workforce Co-Ordinator as required & other administrative duties as can be reasonably expected
**About you**
To be successful within this role you will need to have:
- Experience with rostering medical staff is preferred
- Previous Health Service experience within a similar role
- Experience with medical staff recruitment.
- Tertiary qualification in HR, Management, or health discipline is a benefit but not essential.

**Influenza Vaccination Requirement**
In line with the Health Services Amendment (Mandatory Vaccination of Healthcare Workers) Act 2020, some health care workers are now required to have their flu vaccination to work in health care. Evidence of vaccination is required.
As this role fits into category C of the departments risk ratings, applicants are strongly encouraged (although not required) to be vaccinated against influenza.)
