A leading civil contractor with over four decades of experience delivering complex and diverse projects across NSW is seeking an Estimator to join their Sydney-based team.
About the Role
As an Estimator, you'll play a pivotal role in securing new projects valued up to $40M across a wide range of sectors, including:
* Roads & highways
* Bridges & structures
* Drainage & utilities
* Bulk earthworks & land development
You'll work closely with senior leadership, contributing to competitive tenders, innovative solutions, and the ongoing success of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and budgets
* Analyse project plans, specifications, and subcontractor quotations
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers
* Identify project risks, opportunities, and innovative approaches to delivery
About You
* Australian working rights are essential for this role
* Proven experience as an Estimator in civil construction (projects $5M - $30M)
* Strong knowledge of methodologies, cost structures, and industry rates
* Excellent commercial acumen and attention to detail
* Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
* Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
