The Role
This full‐time position focuses on delivering the English curriculum to students in Years 8, 9, and 10. You will join a high‐performing faculty known for its innovation and supportive nature.
* Curriculum: Plan and implement engaging English lesson plans aligned with the Victorian Curriculum for Years 8-10.
* Pedagogy: Use diverse instructional strategies to challenge students and foster a deep appreciation for literature and language.
* Environment: Maintain a positive, well‐managed classroom that encourages student agency and critical thinking.
* Collaboration: Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the development of shared resources and assessments.
Successful Candidate Profile
* Qualifications: Valid VIT (Victorian Institute of Teaching) Registration.
* Experience: Proven ability to teach English at a secondary level (Years 7-10).
* Compliance: Ability to provide relevant references regarding work with children and adhere to safeguarding standards.
