TRACKS Care is an Aboriginal-owned and operated NDIS registered provider based in Winnellie, Darwin. We deliver person-centred disability support services that are grounded in respect, cultural safety, and community connection. Our team works alongside participants to build on their strengths and support their goals.
The Role
We are seeking female Support Workers to join the TRACKS Care team. This role is being advertised as female-specific in response to participant preferences and cultural safety considerations. You will provide practical, hands-on support to NDIS participants in their daily lives, working from a strengths-based approach that recognises each person's capacity, culture, and goals.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
Available Shifts
A range of regular weekly shifts are available, including:
* 7:30am - 9:30am
* 7:30am - 12:30pm
* 9:30am - 12:30pm
* 12:30pm - 4:30pm
* Additional shifts outside these times may also be available
You will be required to work a set number of shifts each week and to be available to cover additional shifts when needed.
What We Are Looking For
* Experience providing care — whether within your family or in a professional setting
* Clear and effective communication in English (required at participant request)
* A genuine commitment to person-centred, strengths-based support
* Experience working with Aboriginal people using a strengths-based approach is highly advantageous
* Respect for cultural safety and Aboriginal ways of doing things
Requirements
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Own reliable vehicle
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one)
