Senior Nurse Position
This is a permanent appointment up to 80 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Clinical Nurse to join our aged care team in the Midwest.
Key Responsibilities
* To manage, coordinate and deliver competent nursing care for patients in the Residential Aged Care facility, using leadership and advanced nursing skills and knowledge relevant to the practice setting.
* Takes a key leadership role in Residential Aged Care and Palliative service delivery initiative within the Carnarvon district boundaries.
* Advanced nursing practice within the Residential, Aged and Palliative Care setting.
* Advanced skills in planning, coordination and decision making, within the Residential, Aged and Palliative Care setting.
* Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills, oral and written communication skills and proven ability to build, lead and maintain relationship in a team environment.
* Demonstrated understanding of continuous quality improvement programs and risk management within practice.
