About The Role
Commercial builder is seeking a motivated Project Manager or Project Engineer ready to take the step into a PM role to join their delivery team, working across high-profile government and commercial projects throughout the ACT. With a strong forward pipeline and structured project systems, this role offers exposure to complex builds in secure, healthcare, education and commercial environments - ideal for someone looking to accelerate their career within a professional, process-driven organisation.
Reporting to the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, you'll support the successful delivery of projects from early works through to handover. You'll work closely with site teams, consultants and subcontractors to ensure outcomes are achieved safely, on time and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with project planning, programming and cost control
* Manage procurement and subcontractor coordination
* Support contract administration, RFIs and documentation
* Track progress on site support quality assurance processes
* Assist with variations and reporting
* Build strong working relationships with consultants and stakeholders
* Promote safety, quality and best practice delivery
About You
* Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management or similar
* 5+ years experience on commercial projects
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Proactive, detail orientated and delivery focused
* Comfortable working within structured systems and compliance-heavy environments
