Job Summary
The NSW Department of Communities and Justice is seeking a Public Defender to represent legally-aided persons charged with serious criminal offences in trials throughout NSW, and in appeals.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will appear in District Court trials in Dubbo and surrounding areas, as well as some Supreme Court trials and appeals to the NSW Court of Criminal Appeal.
Requirements
* Australian lawyer with advocacy experience in a wide range of criminal trials and, ideally, appeals.

* Ideal: Appeals experience.
